What cookies do we use and why:
We use session cookies:

For a functioning and individualised browsing experience, we use so called ‘session cookies’ which will help to identify you while using our website. These ‘session cookies’ will be deleted automatically and immediately after you close your browser.

We also use a ‘cookie notifier’ cookie, which saves your decisions either to agree with the usage of cookies on our website or not. It is saved automatically upon your click on one of the two options available. Your acceptance of our cookies is stored for one year from the acceptance date. If you decide to refuse our cookies, you decision will be stored for 30 days. During this time the cookie information banner will not be shown again.

We use analytical cookies:

Our website uses Google Analytics, an open source web analytics tool. With this tool we track how often visitors use a page of our website, which pages visitors go to most often, and if they get error messages from our pages. Your IP address will be processed in a pseudonymised manner by deleting the last three figures. That way we are no longer able to directly identify you as an individual. The software from Matomo is running on servers of our in-house service provider in Germany and the information generated by the cookie about your use if the website (including your pseudonymised IP address) will be stored on the server of our in-house service provider in Germany. The IP address that is transmitted will not be merged with any other data collected by us. We will delete this data within five years. If you decide to set a ‘do-not-track’ preference in your web browser or on your mobile device, you visit will not be tracked.

Additionally, you can avail of the ‘save your choice’ cookie which stores whether you are a private users or a healthcare professional. The ‘save your choice’ cookie will be stored for one year after your last visit on our website.

We use Third party cookies:

In order to provide you with a personalised and relevant content of our and third party products and service we allow the placement of third party cookies. The storage duration of these cookies are set by the third parties.

However, please note that if you choose not to accept the use of cookies you may not be able to experience the full functionality of this website.
